Full Description
1973. Excavation by Norwich Survey.
Earliest occupation 10th or 11th century timber buildings containing a well.
It is presumed that any late 12th century building was destroyed in a rebuilding of 13th century.
Early to mid-16th century brick and flint walled block added to the north of the medieval building, rebuilt in the 17th century.

Excavations above revealed earliest landuse was extractive, though possibly related to domestic occupation.
A series of large pits was apparenly evenly spaced, but ranged from the 11th to 17th centuries.
