Full Description
1973.
Excavation by A. Carter, a small deepening of Eastern Gas Board trench, in an area 1 by 2m, just south of number 64.
A number of post medieval surfaces revealed before trench abandoned for safety reasons.
No information regarding potential north-to-south Late Saxon street axis of cathedral transepts.
