Summary

A pair of 17th century and later two storey flint and brick houses with a pantile roof and a 19th century painted brick range to the right.

Pair of 17th-century single cell units, now a single dwelling (No 47). The range to the right (No 49) is a 19th century addition. No 47 has gable end stacks, associated stairs and external walls of flint rubble.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Two houses. 17th century with 19th-century range. Flint and brick rubble with rendered plinth and red brick dressings; rendered gable front, painted brick range to right, pantiled roof."

1973. Stray Find.
3 foot [1m] deep foundation trenches were dug 10 feet [3m] to the east of Quaker's Lane, to the west of existing Number 47.
17th-century material from a pit including delft and a lamp.
Also unstratified post medieval pottery.
