To be restored as museum by North End Preservation Project.
Information from West Norfolk Borough Council and (S1).

10 October 1990.
Group of early 19th century houses. The panelled room is now said to date from about 1710 but it is not outstanding, and this part of the building does not look older. A jettied house formerly stood adjacent and where North Street is now a tall archway 'filled with blue glass above a blue tiled floor' is reported to have been found years ago. An 'older wall' reported in 1990 as running eastwards along the street was covered over again by time of visit a section in the foundations of the standing buildings seemed merely to be volcanic rock ballast as commonly found in the town.
Information from [1].
E. Rose (NLA), 11 February 1991.

The 18th century house is that at the northwest corner of the group. The two cottages to the southeast are dated by Dr Wilson to 1810.
