Summary

Metal-detecting in 1988 and 2015 recovered Roman and post-medieval coins as well as Late Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead and an awl; an Iron Age crescentic copper alloy plate with red enamel and spots, possibly a shield mount; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; medieval strap-ends and gilt copper alloy box mount or clasp and a medieval/post-medieval lead standing weight.
