Summary

An early 16th century timber framed house with 18th century alterations. The house may be the parlour end of a larger hall-house. Medieval and post medieval pottery have been found underneath the floor of the house, as well as a medieval jetton and a post medieval spur.

Listing Description:
18th century. Plastered. Hipped pantile roof. Two storeys. Four widely-spaced windows. Two-light casements. Two simple plank doors. Brick chimney stack. Later brick lean-to at each end.

Early 16th century timber framed house apparently with watttle and daub firehood, replaced by 17th century stack. Remodelled 18th century.
Finds: 13th to 14th century pottery from hearth beneath floor. Also spur, jetton and 16th to 17th century pottery from well.
