Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric burnt and worked flints and two pieces of prehistoric pot. Two concentrations of prehistoric burnt flints indicative of occupation were identified. Further fieldwalking recovered more pieces of Neolithic worked flint and pot including a polished axehead and two arrowheads. These further finds suggest the occupation sites may date to the Neolithic period.
