Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting at this location between 1998 and 2023 recovered a number of prehistoric worked flints; a medieval coin and a number of other metal objects, including a Late Iron Age tankard handle; a Roman lock bolt and vessel escutcheon; a Late Saxon strap end; a medieval annular brooch and a post medieval strap or harness mount.
