Summary
It is recorded that in 1988 a Saxon sceatta coin, with a Runic inscription on the obverse, was recovered from somewhere on the lands of Red Barn Farm in the Snettisham area. It was of a type issued by Aelfwald, around 713-749.

Full Description
April 1988. Found somewhere on [1].
Sceatta, very debased, R2 Roman standard reverse and head with Runic inscription on the obverse. Type issued by last of Wuufingas, Aelfwald about 713-749.
