Full Description
1986 to 1987. Location [1]. Surface finds from whole field but more in one area - not clear exact details.
Eleven Roman greyware sherds, some possibly confused with Thetford type ware.
One dark grey sandy identified.
One hard gritty sherd probably Early Saxon or Middle Saxon.
Two body sherds pimply Ipswich, three bases and one sherd sandy Ipswich.
Twenty-four medieval unglazed,
Thirteen glazed Grimston.
Five post medieval sherds.

1995. North end of field.
Bronze ?crescentic fragment with cast decoration in low relief on each side. Possibly from a terret or something else of possible Iron Age date. Part of central hole suggests object may have been annular. To be photographed.

28 May 1999: Location [10]: small secondary flint flake with minimal fine retouch on left edge.

1 medieval pottery sherd, buckles, harness mounts, a dress hook, signet ring, strap end, strap fitting, copper alloy stud and copper alloy pilgrim badge depicting St Barbara.
Medieval/post-medieval purse fragments, a chafing dish fragment and other copper alloy vessel fragments.
Post-medieval key fragment, buckle, thimble, crotal bell, lead powder charge cap or measure, lead trade weight and late 17th- to 18th-century silver cuff link.
