Full Description
1933.
16th century stoneware jug. Label description for December 1933: 'Found embedded in the wall of a cottage demolished in St Gregory's Alley rear of Strangers Hall'.
NCM accession book: 'Found near Strangers Hall'.
This is possibly the same site as the 1937 finds but this cannot be established for sure.

7 October 1937. Rising Star/St Gregory's Alley. From site 3.6-4.6m (12-15ft) (NCM accession book).
There is no 'Rising Star' but there is the 'Morning Star' at the junction of Pottergate and St Gregory's Alley and this seems likely to have been its find spot.
A Thetford Ware baluster cresset lamp.
