Summary

A 15th century two storey rendered timber framed farmhouse with a thatched roof. It is possible that the building was originally a much earlier open hall house, the upper floor, chimney stack and west window being added in about 1600. There is a modern extension to the rear.

Timber framed building with roof braces from partitions to purlins, like a derivative of an aisled hall. Screens passage plan. Layout 15th century but possibly a much older building altered.
