Summary

Metal-detecting in 1988 and from 2007 to 2013 recovered a Mesolithic blade fragment; medieval pottery sherds; Roman and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Bronze Age, Roman, Late Saxon/medieval and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a possible Bronze Age ribbed socketed axe fragment; a Roman furniture fitting, hair pin and strap end; a medieval pot mend, harness pendant and strap fittings; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel and chafing dish fragments and post-medieval dress accessories, a thimble and weight.

1988.
Ribbed socketed axe fragment or perhaps medieval bronze vessel leg fragment. Also a bronze vessel rim and buckle plate both medieval.
Three bronze early post medieval buckles.
