Full Description
1988. Casual observation - garden of 99 Eastgate Street.
Lava quern - this may be of medieval or Roman date.
Built into west garden wall of East Anglia House, 99 Eastgate Street. Wall probably goes with house, which dates to about 1780, but could be 19th century. However there is recent cement patching around the quern.
E. Rose (NAU), 15 August 1988.
