Summary

Medieval and post medieval window glass fragments were found when a tree was uprooted here in 1987. Medieval metal objects including a penny, part of a knife handle and the spout from a ewer were recovered by metal detecting.

1996. Metal detecting finds.
Medieval end cap from a knife handle. Corrosion from rectangular section tang still visible. Simple turned over shape.
14th/15th century spout from a ewer in the form of an animal head with open mouth, engraved eyes and droopy cast ears.
