September 1997 to January 2000. Metal detecting.
Medieval oval, almost circular (buckle) frame with integral plate. Pin missing. Plate has pin hole, two rivet holes, each between two small projections on sides. The attachment end is in the form of a very stylised animal head. Length, about 53mm, maximum width 14mm. The whole object is bent, midway, into an acute angle. For use with spur.

Post medieval rowel spur, terminals and most of rowel box missing. Sides widening markedly to join behind short straight neck.
