Summary

Metal detecting in 1987 recovered a medieval buckle plate, buckle and a book clasp fragment. Also found were a post medieval padlock and a vessel fragment.

14 February 1988. Metal detecting.
Post medieval bronze vessel handle fragment.
Medieval buckle plate with rocker arm ornament.
Fragment of rim of bronze plate or bowl.
Bronze belt chape.
Early post medieval high quality bronze padlock (S1).
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
