Summary
In 1988 prehistoric flints were found on land stripped for the Thetford Bypass. These worked flints included a flakes, a hammerstone and burnt pieces.

10 June 1988. On surface of land stripped for bypass.
At chainage 800-900:
Eighteen flint flakes.
One hammerstone.
At chainage 820:
One flint flake.
Two burnt flints.
One bone fragment.
