Summary

In 1988 a scatter of Roman and medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the stripped surface of the roadway at this location. Finds included a sherd of groggy Roman pottery and a sherd of medieval glazed Grimston Ware and several unglazed sherds, also of medieval date.
