Summary

In 1988 work on the Thetford Bypass at this location recovered prehistoric flints, including a blade and scraper, as well as a large 18th century shoe buckle.

1988. After initial clearance between chainage 2400 and 2600.
Six flint flakes and blade.
Includes at chainage 2560 a core.
Also at 2620 a scraper.
Information from J. Wymer (NAU).

Found later while metal detecting.
Large 18th century bronze shoe buckle. Recorded only in case of confusion.
