Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1978 recovered sherds of medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery, along post-medieval roof tiles and an undated oval iron loop. Metal-detecting between 2009 and 2016 recovered Late Iron Age and Roman coins and a number of other, Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Bronze Age awl; Roman brooches, a furniture lock fragment, copper alloy probable furniture stud and lead steelyard weight; medieval buckles, a brooch and strap end and a post-medieval shoe buckle.
