Full Description
December 1988. Visit.
Former cottage of about 1800, mutilated in 1910.
Coach house, converted to dwelling, however is a high quality example of a rare type of the same date.

Eastwood Lodge was built between 1774 and 1809 for Willliam George Jerningham.

It is T shaped in plan and is built of brick with a tile roof. The roof was added in about 1910 when the roof level was raised and most of the windows were replaced.
The associated coach house is brick built, has been converted into a house and is an important example.
