Summary

Fieldwalking in 1987 recovered prehistoric worked flints, medieval roof tile and fragments of pottery dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval periods, while metal-detecting in 2013 recovered an Iron Age coin. A watching brief maintained during groundworks at this site in 2016 revealed no archaeologically significant features or deposits. Finds were limited to a single prehistoric flint flake and two Roman coins.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of various new structures.
This work revealed no archaeologically significant features or deposits.
Metal-detecting recovered two Roman coins and an assemblage of modern objects. A single flint flake of probable Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date was also recovered.
