Summary

Metal detecting between 1988 and 2007 recovered a Roman Hod Hill style brooch and a Dolphin brooch, Roman coins, a Middle Saxon pin and a number of medieval and post medieval metal objects.

Hod Hill brooch (Hull type 61) with side knobs at base of bow. Narrow concave leg with cross-rib at top and slight moulding at foot. Similar to (S1). Mid 1st century.
