Summary

Fieldwalking in this area, covering the Roman road, recovered a small, relatively sparse spread of Roman pottery and some bone fragments set in grey soil. Aerial photographs of the area also record various linear cropmarks, possibly associated with the Roman Fen causeway.

Small, relatively sparse spread of Roman pottery. With a few bone fragments set in grey soil. Just to south of Roman road. Area around 28m east to west x 21m north to south.
Conditions: good, well-weathered ploughsoil.
