Summary

Metal detecting recovered two Roman denarii. One was of Hadrian and was minted between AD 117 to 138. The other was of Caracalla and was made between AD 196 and 209.

February 1988. Found with metal detector. Just west of road south east of [1].
Two denarii:
1. Hadrian; reverse: ship, no legend. AD 117 to 138.
2. Caracalla - RECTOR ORBIS AD 196 to 209.
