Summary

Metal detecting recovered fragments of a 4th century AD Roman bracelet, four Roman coins, a medieval sword belt fitting, a 14th century Jew's harp, a medieval buckle and fragments of medieval pottery from the field opposite the church at Berry Hall.

Bronze Roman bracelet fragment, one terminal (eye) extant with zone of transverse grooves; light bangle type. 4th century.
Identified by D. Gurney (NAU).
Bronze sword belt fitting with two iron rivets and ridged decoration; keyhole shaped hole. Compare example from Norwich NHER 50 small find 494; medieval.
Bronze Jews Harp buckle 14th century.
Bronze heavy duty buckle, tongue with transverse moudling near loop. Tongue point fitting into deep groove in rest.
Five medieval unglazed sherds including jar rim of early medieval type with frilling.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) except where stated.
