Summary

Metal detecting in 1989 recovered an Iron Age Icenian silver coin. It is an early Face-Horse type that dates to the later half of the first century BC.

Icenian silver coin; early face-horse of a type that is now dated but unnamed. This coin adds detail to the front of the head. Later half of first century BC. Weight 1.395 gms.
