Summary

Fieldwalking at this site in 1989 recovered pieces of worked prehistoric flint as well as fragments of medieval unglazed pottery and Romano-British grey ware.

1 and 3 March 1989. Fieldwalking. Field ploughed and rolled; rain formed slight surface crust; soil moist large numbers flints. Weather dull and cloudy with heavy rain for area south of road, dull and cloudy for north of road.
Roman and medieval pottery, worked flint.
