Summary

Fieldwalking at this site in 1989 recovered sherds of Roman and medieval pottery. Pottery types recorded comprised Romano-British grey ware and medieval glazed Grimston Ware.

10 March 1989. Fieldwalking. Field ploughed and rolled; rain had formed heavy surface crust; soil moist large number of flint lumps. Weather bright overcast with increasing amounts of rain.
