Summary

Fieldwalking at this location in 1989 retrieved several prehistoric worked flints and several pottery sherds from various periods. Types of pottery identified included medieval Grimston Ware and post medieval Glazed Red Earthenware.

27 and 28 February 1989. Fieldwalking. Field ploughed and rolled; soil dry; rain formed surface crust; large quantities of flint. Weather bright and cloudy for north half, dull for southern.
Iron Age, medieval and post medieval pottery, worked flint.
