Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1989 recovered three pieces of prehistoric flint along with a fragment of Romano-British grey ware pottery.

3 and 6 March 1989. Fieldwalking. Field ploughed and rolled; rain formed surface crust; soil moist; large quantities of flint pieces. Weather bright and cloudy for northern third, sunny with little cloud for remainder.
Roman sherds and worked flint.
