Summary

Aerial photographs taken in 1976 show the cropmarks of a sub-circular enclosure at this location. No date or function was assigned to this feature. Subsequent fieldwalking in the area during 1989, as part of the Illington Survey, recovered sherds of medieval and post medieval pottery.
