Summary

Fieldwalking in this area during 1989, as part of the Illington Survey, recovered a prehistoric flint scraper along with sherds of Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery, while metal-detecting before 2015 and 2016 recovered a possible Roman tumbler lock and a Middle/Late Saxon strap-end.
