Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow and field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1). A group of north to south aligned ridge and furrow earthworks are present. Earthworks of ditches, probably field boundaries of similar date, are present immediately to the south. All of the earthworks had been levelled and the field was under arable cultivation by 1976 (S2).
J. Albone (NMP), 22 February 2008.
