Summary

During a watching brief on the construction and laying of a gas pipeline medieval and post medieval pottery was found at this site including an odd glazed and white slipped medieval fragment that may be imported pottery.

Bushey Common to Saham Grove Gas Pipeline (Area 10).
Route walked following removal of topsoil and excavation of pipe trench monitored.
One medieval oxidised, glazed over white slip - odd, imported? Sherd.
One grimston glazed sherd.
One medieval unglazed sherd.
One 18th to 19th century slipped, unglazed sherd.
Finds donated to Norwich Castle Museum.
