Summary

Archaeological observations carried out here in 1989 during the laying of a gas pipeline noted sherds of Roman and medieval pottery as well as a fragment of a post medieval clay tobacco pipe.

Bushey Common to Saham Grove Gas Pipeline (Area 13).
Route walked following removal of topsoil and excavation of pipe trench monitored.
1 Roman pottery sherd.
6 medieval pottery sherds (4 medieval unglazed and 2 Grimston glazed).
2 post-medieval clay pipe stems.
Finds donated to Norwich Castle Museum.
