Full Description
1989, at various times. Found while gardening, on bare soil in garden. (Context 1).
One body sherd probably Thetford-type.
One medieval rim (?bowl) and one unglazed bodysherd.
Three probable glazed Grimston.
Three glazed Grimston.
One base late medieval/transitional ware.
One post medieval stoneware.

Informant state that firm of well-diggers carried out some type of resistivity survey of the garden around this findspot prior to sinking a new well, and reported a number of grave-like features. Houseowner stated that he had encountered similar features in digging but 'an unusual distance apart' and he had never dug into them.

Revealed only one feature, of indeterminate origin - possibly natural.
