August 1989. Metal detecting.
Half of bronze double brooch. Silvered, with punch dots. In form of cockerel. Probably joined to second opposed cockerel. Double lug on back for hinged pin. Iron corrosion between lugs. Drilled hole through body. Dated mid 1st century A.D. See letter in file. To be photographed NAU.
