Summary

A Palaeolithic primary flint flake, a Neolithic scraper and a prehistoric burnt flint were found in molehills on Clark's Acre, Neatherd Moor.

1989 or earlier. Stray Find.
Finds in molehills on Clarke's Acre, Neatherd Moor:
1 Palaeolithic primary flint flake. Rolled and with toadbelly patina. Condition puts this as Palaeolithic. Chipping on edges probably ancient damage and not secondary working.
1 Neolithic thick end scraper.
1 ?prehistoric 'pot boiler'.
Identified by J. Wymer (NAU).
These discoveries were reported in (S1) and the Palaeolithic flake is noted on (S2).
