Summary

Metal detecting and field observation have recovered Roman coins, a possible medieval lead trefoil ceiling mount and two large 15th to 16th century double buckles. A large number of post medieval coins, metalwork and a few pieces of post medieval pot were also found. These objects are indicative of activity here from the 16th century onwards.

Two Roman coins, list in file and (S1).
Large collection of post medieval coins and metalwork seen by S. Margeson (NCM) plus a few post medieval sherds. Not recorded in detail, but collection suggests 16th century and later activity.

Lead trefoil mount, medieval? ceiling? ornament.
Large double buckle 15th to 16th century.
Double buckle with excrescenses 15th to 16th century.
