Summary

Fieldwalking in 1987 recovered worked flint and a large fragment of Roman pottery. Also found were medieval and post medieval pottery fragments,together with pieces of post medieval clay pipe.

1987. Found in fieldwalking at 15 to 20 metre intervals.
Worked flints. Medieval sherds. One large sherd of Roman red
bodied ware (identified by A. Gregory NCM). Large quantity of large 17th/18th
century sherds and clay pipes. See extract from(S1)
