Summary

Fieldwalking in 1987 recovered prehistoric flints and pot boilers. Also found were Roman , medieval and post medieval pottery fragments and a medieval thimble. In the field there was also a World War Two bomb crater.

Bomb crater in field. Roman sherds (identified by A. Gregory, NCM). Medieval
and post medieval sherds. Flints and potboilers. Medieval thimble. See extract from
