Summary

In 1989 a Palaeolithic flint handaxe was recovered from this area. This object may have arrived at the site with material that had been brought in from Southacre.

Found in garden, possibly in material brought in from Southacre:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe. Cordate, with patches of cortex surving and some recent damage. See drawing by finder (S1).
