Summary

17th-century and later, two-storey plus attic, partly timber-framed house. It has rendered and colour-washed walls and a steeply pitched pantile roof. It was joined with 33 Market Place (NHER 65094) to form one building in the 19th century.

Listing Description excerpt:
"17th century and later. Partly timber-framed, rendered and colourwashed. Two storeys and attic. Steeply pitched pantile roof. Weatherboarded gable to south. Eaves overhang with brackets in pairs. Sash windows at first floor level. Modern shop front on south and east. Brick chimney stack at north end, parapetted north gable. Attic window in south gable."

Building complex. Two timber framed houses, one 16th to 17th century [33 Market Place; NHER 65094] the other 17th century [1 Red Lion Street; NHER 257453]; part brick facade added in 18th century, two houses joined into one in 19th century. Listed Grade II.
