Full Description
March 1990. Metal detecting.
Early Saxon/Middle Saxon 7th century bronze 'shield' buckle pin; point missing, loop on reverse broken, engraved decoration. Traces of silvering/tinning. To be photographed.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NAU).
13th century bronze rectangular buckle-plate decorated with mythological beast in relief on enamelled ground. Two rivets.

15th-16th century double-looped decorated buckle frame fragment. Lobes decorated with punched dots.
