Full Description
Cropmark site.
Square enclosure reminiscent of Romano-Celtic temple but uncharacteristically large.
(Other enclosures adjoining are probably drainage, E. Rose (NAU/NLA).)
16 October 1989. Gridded fieldwalking
Nothing found. Two auger traverses also failed to confim apparent water channel and ditches.
M. Matthews, 18 April 1990.
22 July 1993. NLA aerial photography.
Additional cropmarks visible on these images. Enclosure appears more complex than marked on NHER map.
M. Brennand (NLA) 8 February 2001.
