Summary

A large square cropmarked enclosure was fieldwalked and augered in October 1989 but nothing was found. Later aerial photography (in 1993) showed the enclosure to be more complex than previously thought.

Cropmark site.
Square enclosure reminiscent of Romano-Celtic temple but uncharacteristically large.
(Other enclosures adjoining are probably drainage, E. Rose (NAU/NLA).)

Nothing found. Two auger traverses also failed to confim apparent water channel and ditches.
