Medieval cast copper alloy barrel padlock key with suspension loop, expanded stem with moulded collars at top and bottom decorated with engraved cross hatchings. Stem bifurcated below lower collar and ending in cross shaped ward at right angles to stem. Expanded cross arms of ward have lightly incised motifs (?fleur de lys) on underside.
