Full Description
August 1990. Found with metal detecting. [1].
13th century buckle plate with superb winged griffin 'guardant', gilt copper alloy, with rocker-arm decorated border. Griffin in relief on an enamel ground; neck and body decorated with punched dots. Two copper alloy rivets.
