Summary

Sporadic fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 1990 and 2013 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery and Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman dolphin brooch; a medieval strap fitting and harness mount and a medieval/post-medieval dagger scabbard chape.

Part of medieval copper alloy locked belt fitting, traces of gilding.

September 1998. Additional limited fieldwalking for northernmost 30m strip, half on ridged potatoes.
Produced pottery and scatter which due to density suggests a manuring spread.
3 Glazed Grimston body sherds.
1 probable Glazed Grimston body sherd.
1 early post medieval glazed base.
